What the heck do we do with gil? Make it so we can buy premium charecters with them or something,otherwize its a good game :)

As a huge fan of Final Fantasy and a big fan of all gaming in general: this game is extremely boring. All you do is swipe characters to make them attack. There is no customizing, no real progression, no strategy.

Only reason I gave 2 stars instead of one is there is some mindless fun tapping. Do not purchase anything!! Bought a character and never received anything but still got billed. Brought if to square enixs attention and they basically said not their problem but apples. Wrote back to them and got a robo reply telling me nothing. Will never spend money with square enix again which is a shame cause I love and have spent money on final fantasy games.

For how simple the game is I liked it almost 100% the game but then I paid for a premium character and a Midgard ticket and well it tells me its invalid... I contacted square Enix support and the said talk to iOS well this is me saying this is some serious bs I paid 5$ for nothing! I would like a refund not even the content anymore and lets just say if this is how you treat the few customers willing to pay actual money dont expect life long final fantasy fans like me to pay any more money

I beat the game and nothing to do. I bought all the characters yet still nowhere new to explore. Why not add more maps?

This game is a complete waste of trash. The project management team on this game should be fired. Battles consist of swiping your finger across the screen to hit all your inactive units. Thats it. Thats all the control you have over the game. Square has made a joke of the franchise we love. They can stuff it.

I really enjoy this game the only problem I have is why do I collect so much Gil when I have no reason to use them? I have to buy characters with actual money and buy the airship ticket with actual money, so whats the point in having Gil? I wish we could use it instead of it taking up screen space.

It is okay but why do we need gil? We dont use it! Why is there so little game content?

This is a game, right? Oh, its not? Is it a utility? No? Uhh, companion app? No? Okay is it an entertainment app? No... So what is it? Garbage.

Theres no real gameplay to speak of. You need to spend money to recruit classic characters. Its not really any fun and is just good for wasting time or to clean your screen. You dont even have to tap your units, you just clean your screen and they do their thing. When I played it it was functional but there was still a couple bugs that are still not updated.

Yes this is not a true Final Fantasy game with the Final Fantasy RPG gameplay. Yes, the gameplay isnt meant to be for very long. I found this game to be very fun and entertaining for what it was though. A quick little game to play when youre bored for a few minutes until your party dies and you move on to something else. A quick game for when youre sitting around bored wondering what to play and you see your party respawned. Ive never seen a game with mechanics done like this, and I loved it. So yes, its different from your typical RPG styled Final Fantasy game, but a mobile game with unique mechanics and gameplay that I very much enjoyed.

First, the bad reviews, I believe, are from people expecting this to be a true FF game. It isnt and it isnt meant to be, it is a game easy to just pick up any time and play and if you see it the way it was meant to be its a good game. My dislikes are not being able to equip with what I want and would like a little more depth. And, what the heck do you get Gil for, there is absolutely nothing to use it on. Did you throw that in just to give the game more of an FF feeling? Dumb

This is a fun little game, not too hard, its a great time waster. I have one big problem with it, though: the in-app purchases. More than half the game is locked to you unless you pay money. A total of $34.65 for all the Premium Characters, and three World Tickets for $3.99 each, and you need the Tickets to get any of the Premium Gear or Premium Enemies. I think they should allow you to get this stuff another way than by just having to buy it. Other than that, great game. Several times I encountered a glitch where my entire party was filled with one class. Its happened with Samurai, White Mages, Berserkers, Bards, and once even with Sages, which is extremely overpowered.

You just swipe the screen. No strategy. Swipe swipe swipe. Why? Disgusting use of the FF brand.

You rub your screen to unlock encyclopedia entries. Thats it. Really no point to this being a game.

1$ EVERY NEW PERSON!!!!!!!!!!! This is baaaaaaaaad and it is not even fun I sit and tap the screen and chaos ensues it is a disgrace to final fantasy it is BAD the only reason people play is they have the chance to get there favorite character from final fantasy or you get some stupid pig I sat with my 3ds and phone and played monster hunter a better game wile randomly taping my phone screen its stupid and awfully frustrating to play

You just rub the screen and watch the sprites shift around. Cringy. Dont touch this app

Dull combat, the fact it cost money to buy a character, you cant chose your character you want, and its boring

If I could get my money back, I would. Sure it seems kind nostalgic, but you can not apply any strategy, you can not choose your party or the target. Aside from being made by square, this game feels like it was made by someone who just learned how to make apps. Really, do not buy this.
