FINAL FANTASY ALL THE BRAVEST App Reviews

Square sure loves money...

Huge money grab when it comes to golden hourglasses or the premium characters. No strategy or skill needed, just smudge your screen by swiping viciously and your gonna be a star player. Also the game not only crashed itself but also force restarted my iPad on several occasions. Fix the crash and that might reward you a two star review you corporate pigs....

Fun and Simple!

This is a fun and simple little game! It is not a real FF game, but this is a great homage to FF I-VI! The bonus stuff is worth the cash! As a FF game, it is terrible. But, as a pick up and play cell phone game on its own, its great!

In-app purchases

Do you wish to read this review. You will have to wait 2 hours, or read it instantly for $0.99

I dont usually write reviews but...

If possible I would give this game zero stars. Besides being a very repetitive game with no real strategy besides mashing the screen the game makes no sense. Why am I collecting Gil after every battle... Yet I can only spend really money in the game. I realize that programmers need to make money and I have no problem with balanced iap purchases but this games entire purpose seems to be to force you to buy in app. Worst final fantasy ever.

Rip off

Shame on Square Enix for this terrible game! Pay to unlock characters randomly, pay to get health back, pay, pay, pay. And the gameplay? Just randomly tap your characters to make them attack. Disgraceful.

Awesome game for any Final Fantasy

Im not sure why some have provided negative feedback on this game. Having played Final Fantasy since I was 7 years old, I love the fact that this game goes back to the classic materials (music, game sprites, maps, etc). My only suggestion: provide an option to use Gil in order to purchase things since there is no use for it in the actual game.

Why is this a game

Square is just shooting itself in the foot

Freemium Crap

Square Enix failed. pay to win nongame. Gameplay consists of constantly tapping the screen. Only play if you like accidentally spending money after battles. Store opens automatically during gameplay.

SKIP THIS, PLAY RECORD KEEPER

This is not a game, its a finger exercise. For a real game, play Final Fantasy Record Keeper, the game that exists as an obvious apology for "All the Bravest!"

Wasted nostalgia

Spent $5 unlocking Midgar for 5 minutes worth of fights and brick wall bosses. They preyed on my nostalgia and won.

Amazing but short

Needs more levels. ALOT more levels

Shame on all the negative commenters

If you wanted a game with depth and combat strategy, buy the actual final fantasy games. I love this game and played the hell out of it, they have all the characters and weapons you love, and as you go through you get much stronger. I dont know why people are getting so angry over an app with in-app purchases. Give me a list of 20 fun games where there arent any.

The worst Final Fantasy game

S-E released this "game" to play with our nostalgia and get some money out of our pockets with this animated... something. Only gameplay it has is blindly tapping the phone screen. Shame to FF franchise.

Boooooooring

This game is way too stupid and dull - all you have to do is to tap fast on the right part of the screen.

FINAL FANTASY ALL THE BRAVEST

Всё отлично, но жалко, что новые миры платные.

Not even a game

This does not even qualify as a game. There is no story. You go from stage to stage attacking monsters without rhyme or reason. In battle, all you do is swipe your finger around the screen and your characters attack as a result. Thats the "gameplay." No strategy, no challenge, just grind levels and outlive your opponents. Thankfully they removed the $4 cost for this game, but there is still about $40-50 of premium content if you want the full game. In addition, if all your characters die in battle there is a 99 cent charge to continue the fight, or else you either start over or wait three minutes per character to recover. This can take over an hour and a half! Take a pass on this. Play ET on the 2600 instead. At least that has gameplay and a story.

Laggy greed

Its fun to play sometimes but the game freezes and crashes with all my devices, plus to get original characters from ff games you need to randomly pay for is not fun

Fun but $$$

The basic game is lots of fun. That said you have to buy the 35 "premium" character at $0.99 each. The three "Premium" zones for $3.99 each. Total investment: $46.62. You can almost buy a real game for that.

A perfect fan pleaser

Sure, it gobbled up a good 40$ out of my savings, but any hardcore Final Fantasy Fan will not be able to resist the in-app purchases. It may be shallow and it may be shameless, but being a FFF myself, it sure brought me the excitement it promises. Now pardon me as I try to 100% all the premium collectables.
