Abominable Travesty of Bullocks.
This game is a nostalgia trip in music and graphics only. If you want that, you can easily youtube videos of the old Final Fantasy titles this game shamelessly extracts from! or buy the original games! many of which have readily available purchase outlets.
The game is nothing but an exercise in swiping the screen all day. In order to maximize your attack, you effectively cover the screen with three fingers and swipe randomly. This is silly, both because it is downright mindless, and you basically obscure much of the screen most of the fight. Bad design.
Gets worse, however, when you realize that no matter what, the difficulty spikes for enemies is such that they WILL wipe your party, forcing you to wait, or waste gold hour glasses. The eventual result is that you run out of glasses, prompting purchases for a game with zero depth. It gets more appalling when you might become interested in hero characters like Cloud. For a buck, you can get a hero... At random. There are more than 30 random heroes, and all they do is look a bit different than the standard characters. Then theres even more DLC... Costing even more money. But all this all just more of the same repetitive and lazy design of swiping like a madman, only with textures ripped from other titles.
Not worth the initial price of admission, certainly not worth shelling for heroes, or new stages that add NOTHING to the game.
